Shah Rukh Khan starrer ‘Pathaan‘ is smashing records at the box office, garnering an overwhelming response from the audience. Despite the protests by some right-wing organizations like Bajrang Dal and Hindu Jagran Manch, the film already minted around Rs. 54 crore at the box office on its opening day only. And this successful run continued on day 2 as well. Taking a major jump from day 1’s figure, the film collected approximately Rs 70 crore nett on Thursday (January 26), which was a holiday on account of Republic Day. Trade analysts suggest that ‘Pathaan’ might enter the Rs 200 crore club in the opening weekend itself. The film has already crossed Rs 235 crore worldwide.
