Box office Tsunami: Amid the criticism, Pathaan film’s tickets worth crores sold in few minutes

Shah Rukh Khan,  Deepika Padukone, and John Abraham’s Pathaan is one of the most awaited films of the year. On the one hand, people are calling for its Boycott because of Deepika’s Bikini saffron color. Meanwhile on the other hand SRK’s fans are very excited for the film and this is evident from the advance booking of the film.

According to ftrade analyst Taran Adarsh, the film has already sold 1,17,000 tickets in advance booking. Calling it a “BO Tsunami loading”, he revealed PVR has sold 51,000 tickets, while INOX has sold 38,500 tickets and Cinepolis has sold 27,500 tickets. According to trade analysts, YRF’s Pathaan, which marks the return of Shah Rukh Khan after a hiatus of four years, is expected to collect Rs 35 crores on its opening day and is expected to go beyond Rs 45 crore on January 26.

Pathaan, marks Shah Rukh Khan’s return to the big screen in over four years. The action thriller also stars John Abraham and is directed by Siddharth Aanand. The film is scheduled to be released in theatres on January 25, 2023. It will be released in Tamil and Telugu dubbed versions apart from Hindi.
