Joe Barber is the iconic comedy performance created by and starring Oscar Petersen and David Isaacs with a legacy spanning 23 years. The six-night show was their first live show since 2019 and featured special musical guest Early B.

“Our team is extremely grateful for the support of the fans. Breaking an attendance record speaks to the love for the work created by David Isaacs and Oscar Petersen, and the feedback from the Joe Barber family has been glowing,” said the show’s producer, Ian Bredenkamp, in a statement.

“The support for Joe Barber is evident, and we look forward to taking the show to other regions in the near future”.

In a recent interview with News24, Petersen said he and Isaacs were looking forward to “just connecting with the audience and getting rid of those bubbles that this dark period of two years has kept us under.”
